Christian Homa (Salve Regina): After turning batting .472 with 20 extra base hits, Homa received 1st Team All-American honors as a sophomore. He should be in the middle of the order for an experienced Salve Regina team. Homa received First Team Preseason All-American honors from D3Baseball.
Danny MacDougall (Endicott): MacDougall was a key contributor in Endicott’s 2023 run to the world series and expect to see more in 2024. In 2023 MacDougall hit .426 with 19 doubles and 5 home runs and 14 stolen bases. MacDougall received 2nd team all region honors and is a preseason 3rd Team All-American according to D3Baseball.
Aidan Vining (Johnson & Wales): After winning GNAC Pitcher in 2023, Vining should be one of the top pitchers in the region. In 2023 Vining struck out 97 in 77 innings while turning in 3 complete games. Vining received 1st Team All-Region honors in 2023 and is a preseason 3rd Team All-American according to D3Baseball.
Francis Ferguson (Eastern Nazarene): A true 2-way that stood out in the 2023 season. On the mound he had a 2.06 ERA in 65 innings of work while at the plate hitting .429 with a .521 OBP. A preseason 1st Team All-American for the 2024 season after collecting 3rd Team All-American honors in 2023.
Dan Driscoll (Eastern Connecticut): After a strong 2023 season Driscoll earned himself preseason 2nd Team All-American honors. In 2023 Driscoll struck out 87 and only walked 16 in 75 innings of work. Driscoll also earned All-Region first team honors in region 2 in 2023.
Kyle McCausland (Middlebury): After hitting .429 with 11 home runs with 60 RBI, McCausland should be one of the top bats in New England. McCausland received 2nd Team Preseason All-American honors after receiving 1st Team All Region Honors and 3rd Team All-American honors.
Ryan McCarroll (Wheaton): McCarroll should be one of the best arms in the region after a stellar 2023 season. A 10-1 record with a 1.89 ERA in 76 innings earned McCarroll Pitcher of The Year in Region 2 and The NEWMAC conference. McCarroll is a Preseason 2nd team All-American via D3Baseball.
Aidan Blake (UMass Boston): After turning in a 1st Team All-Region year in 2023, Blake should be one of the top bats in the LEC. Blake hit .363 with 23 XBH in 2023 while also fielding it at .960.
Maxwell Gitlin (Clark): Gitlin turned himself into one of the top pitchers in the NEWMAC after an impressive 2023 season. In 73 innings, Gitlin had an impressive 1.84 ERA while opponents batted .196 against him. He was a 2nd Team All-Region pitcher.
Ryan Boyle (Framingham State): After a great 2023 season Boyle will be the main run producer for Framingham State. Boyle tallied 10 doubles and 9 home runs for 52 RBI. A second team All-Region and a 1st Team MASCAC outfielder in 2023 looks to build on a successful season.
